Flowers From The ID
Cover page sculpture; the intention of this piece is the thought behind where an idea for a sculpture comes from, it occurred to me that not all inspiration comes from the waking being, and that spikes or messages come from our sub conscious and influence the outcome.
In life, these suggestions can cause both good and bad results with unexplained mistakes or brilliant ideas. The trumpet like flowers of this piece, symbolise contentment or satisfaction with a successful result achieved.
The twisted stems and tails suggest the complicated area from where the flowers came.
Made from fibreglass and painted in a two part metallic finish.

Price: $6300AU+Freight Dia 330cm H x280cmD X 270cm W

Against the Wind
An almost ghost like galleon in heavy weather .The hull is a set of old farm scarifiers . Other pieces of the rig are from a horse drawn sulky and the sails from windmill blades.
Created in metal with a two part enamel finish.

Galleon

Gladiator
The basic frame is a motorbike, with the back wheel and many other components from a horse drawn Sunshine Harvester, the fuel tank is an old Jerry can petrol container, cut down; the headlight is off a 1917 T Model Ford; the tail light is an early railways lantern; whilst the engine was salvaged from a billabong windmill water pump.
An interesting feature of the bike is that the horse haymes handlebars used to be worn by draft horses that pulled the harvester. Built from iron and steel and painted in automotive metallic pearl finish with pin striping applied by a73 year old sign writer who started his career painting sulkies.

Price: $5500AU + Freight Dia 190cmH x 260cmL x 950W
